Phoenix

Our last day in Phoenix, our cousin Lora had a cookout at her home for all of us. We had a great afternoon playing in the sun and the boys had fun meeting and playing with their Arizona family. Great Aunt Jackie and our cousin Julie loved holding Ben! When we left Indiana there was still patches of snow on the ground so the sun and green grass was quite a novelty for us!

More of Phoenix

While we were in Phoenix we visited a train park. It was so much fun to take the boys to the train park as it was a place we had gone to often with our friends and their children when we lived in Phoenix. We all rode on a real steam train and also a carousel! We also shared our love for hiking with the boys by taking them on a toddler/stroller friendly hike in the mountain preserve. The wild flowers were just beginning to bloom. The boys adapted well to their new home at the hotel as you can see by the picture of them enjoying breakfast one morning!

Phoenix, AZ Vacation!

We all traveled to Phoenix for a vacation a couple of weeks ago. We all had a fantastic time and the boys were perfect little travelers. The plane rides went well and they even slept well in the hotel to the delight of Mommy and Daddy! While we were in Phoenix we got a chance to catch up with friends and family and made a few new friends as you can see by Nick and Sam's picture with the goats at the zoo! Sam began going down slides on his bottom, as opposed to his tummy and I captured his first ride in the photo! Our rental mini van was a success, so I guess the writings on the wall for one of those now! and Ben got to ride forward facing in his car seat for the first time with his brothers! He looked out the window constantly, except when he was sleeping! All 3 boys were asleep when we arrived at the zoo, but quickly woke up once we entered the zoo.

Hitchin' a ride

The temperatures are warming up and Nick and Sam take advantage of playing outside, dusting off the tricycle and going for a spin.

Birthday pictures

Sam and Ben had their pictures taken this past week to commemorate their 2nd and 1st birthday. Here are the results!

Happy 1st Birthday Ben!

We celebrated Ben's 1st Birthday yesterday! Ben's favorite thing to do right now is to play ball. He loves to roll balls back and forth with his Mommy and Daddy and also loves to chase them all over the house. So, a ball themed party seemed like the perfect choice for Ben!
