Easter Sunday

The boys must have done something well to receive so many goodies form the Easter Bunny!
We enjoyed a morning egg hunt before Church, then back home again for a few pictures.  Grandma Bonnie was here to share in the fun and we all enjoyed the beautiful sunny day!

Nick, with his version of an Easter bonnet.  Nick must have moved too fast during the egg hunt, I didn't get any pictures of him in action!

Looking spiffy!

Grandma!

Nick took this picture of Eric and I.  He's got a pretty good shot!

Annie could not escape Ben's loving grasp!

Holy Saturday

We spent Saturday morning at Lions park taking part in the Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt!  There were egg hunts for all the kids divided up by their ages.  The boys had fun running around like crazy with all of the other kids!  It was a beautiful, sunny morning.

Checking out their eggs!

Later in the day we colored eggs!
Nick was careful using the special holder to carefully take the eggs in and out of the colors,

while Ben found it easier to just use his hands!

The finished products!

One last snow, we hope!

We had what we hope will be our last snow fall of the season on April 15th.

The boys love to play basketball each morning while waiting for the bus.  This morning the frozen net caught them by surprise!

Easter Egg Hunt!

The week before Easter our friends the Miller's had their annual Easter party and egg hunt.  There must have been 500 eggs scattered throughout the yard for all of the kids to hunt and collect!

A visit with the Easter Bunny!
(aka Dr. Miller)
The boys think they are being so sly when they tell me they know that this is not the real Easter Bunny, it is Juliette's daddy dressed up like the Easter Bunny!

The last day at Animal Kingdom Lodge

We spent the last day of break at the resort.  The kids were so excited to swim in the Mickey shaped pool!

This giraffe was showing us his best side while getting a drink from the watering hole.

Exploring the resort one last time before we left!

Sam, showing off his handy work.  He made this beaded necklace in the craft room at the resort!

Waiting for the Magic Express to take us to the airport.  We were all Disney tired when we boarded the plane to return home!  We are all looking forward to our next trip to Disney and grateful that we can share the Disney magic with our boys!

The Magic Kingdom

Our morning visitors! Seen from our patio.  What a way to start out each day!

Our day at Magic Kingdom was our favorite park day.  The rides, shows and treats were all so much fun.  The highlights of the day were Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor, The Country Bear Jamboree, The Barnstormer,  Peter Pan's Flight, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and Tomorrow land Speedway!
We had planned to spend the entire day at the park and stay for the parade and fireworks, but Sam and Ben had had enough after dinner so we went back to the hotel while Eric and Nick stayed and closed down the Magic Kingdom!  Nick had the best time with Daddy that night.   Being the oldest brother has it's advantages!

Hollywood Studios

Next up was Hollywood Studios.

The first ride we rode was The Great Movie Experience.  Eric and I choose this calm ride with the hopes the kids would be entertained by Hollywood movies.  After the first turn in the ride and the alien popped out of ceiling we knew we were in for a thrilling ride.  The kids didn't trust us the rest of the day on any rides!  We watched a lot of shows, including Disney Junior Live and saw some characters like Phineas and Ferb.  We even tried our hand at animation drawing the character Stitch!  Maybe the next time we are at Walt Disney World the boys will be up for more adventures!
