Children's Museum Jolly Days
We started out the new year with some friends at the Children's Museum for Jolly Days. A trip down the Yule slide with our friend Ella was a hit for Nick and Sam, while Nick amazed his friends with his fishing skills! Ben made friends with Blitzen the reindeer; Sam and Nick also made a new friend while we were there, Barbie, oh and Buzz light year, too! A fun time was had by all!

Car Show
Last week was our annual trip to the Auto Show in downtown Indy. It's definitely a highlight for the boys in their young lives and something they remember going to from the past year. They love to have the chance to explore, romp and roam around all of the new cars and trucks! The trucks seemed to be their favorite vehicle this year!

Christmas morning 2010
Merry Christmas! Christmas morning was such a treat at our home this year. All 3 boys were so excited for the day to arrive and couldn't wait to see what Santa brought for them. The highlights of the loot they received were Sam's Toy Story 3 race track, Nick's garbage truck and Ben seemed to love it all equally! We woke up to a fresh layer of snow that morning so the snow shovels got put to use too! We all played out in the snow for quite a while and then enjoyed long Christmas afternoon naps!
Christmas Eve
Our tradition for Christmas Eve is to spend the evening with the Basile family. We've enjoyed getting together with them on this special night since we moved to the Indy area. I think we all look forward to each other's company and eating quite well! As usual, the boys were very excited and could hardly be contained as it got closer to going home and preparing for Santa to make his stop at our home. The boys were excited to leave out treats for Santa and his reindeer before they went to bed!

Indiana State Museum
We went to visit the Indiana State Museum just before Christmas. It was our first visit to the museum and we all really enjoyed it. The main attraction was Santa Claus. He was there to for visits and pictures with the kids and there was also a train to ride and lots of beautiful Christmas decorations to check out. We peaked around at the rest of the museum as well and saw dinosaurs, old cars, trains and lots of wild animals, too. We will be making another trip to the museum this winter for sure!
Family Fun
Preparing for Christmas
Nick, Sam and Ben had a lot of fun this Christmas season baking, decorating gingerbread houses and eating cookies, too! Nick's class at his school invited all the moms in to help decorate gingerbread houses. It was so much fun to go into Nick's classroom and see him interacting with his classmates and teachers.
Go Colts!
