Last day of school!

All smiles!  It's the last day of school!  Say goodbye to 6th, 7th and 8th grades!  

Ruby is most excited about today.  She likes it when her boys are all home with her!  They tend to drop more food on the floor than me!  

Next stop for Nick....high school!

Today they were indulging me while I tried out my new super zoom camera lens.

Go Eagles!

The ZWEST Eagles baseball season was a quick one!  Sam had so much fun and a sense of pride playing for his 7th grade baseball team, and Eric and I enjoyed cheering him on at each game!

 

College friend

My friend Eileen from dental hygiene school and her daughter Rachael came to visit me last weekend.  It was so good to see them and get to spend some time together.  Lucky for me they had a friend getting married in our area and spent the weekend with us.  We had fun reminissing about our early 20's, we got mani and pedis and shopped the brick street in our little village.  Much needed girl time!!

 

Early spring/ Late April happenings

After a year off from any extra curricular activities, I think we are all ready to get back at it!   

Spring sports are in full swing.  Sam is playing for the Zionsville Eagles Black team.  He is fortunate to be playing with a lot of his buddies and with a great coaching staff.  It's going to be a fun season!  Sam is perfecting his pitching, improving his hitting and base running and helping out fielding in left field.  It sure is fun watching #93!  

Nick is playing soccer and is on the ZYSA 15U  travel team.  He is a fearless goalie, diving after any ball that comes his way!  It's going to be fun watching him grow into this role!

Ben hosted a Boy Scout patrol campout in our backyard.  The boys were very self sufficient and only needed us to open the pool!  It's fun and a privledge to watch these sweet boys grow up.
