On August 21st we experienced an eclipse in central Indiana. The eclipse was at 90% totality in our area of the country. The kids were excused from school to view the eclipse with their families, so I picked up the boys early and after stopping off for lunch we headed home to our own outdoor classroom! Eric happened to have a slow day at work and was home to watch the action with us. Right after we saw the eclipse at it's 90%, the clouds moved in. I was so glad we saw what we could from our backyard.
There will be another eclipse in 7 years and at that time we will be in the 100% totality zone! We are all looking forward to that day!
