We had a long weekend last weekend with the kids being out of school for President's day. Eric took the day off too and we all went to Illinois to visit family!
We started our weekend at Grandpa Dan and Grandma Jill's on Saturday. They had a special Avengers birthday cake for Sam to continue the celebration of him turning 5!
It was a very eventful visit for Nick as well. He lost his first tooth! The tooth had been wiggly for about a year and it finally was ready to come out! We waited until we were back home for the Tooth fairy to make her debut in the Horn household. Nick was OK with this plan and was rewarded from the Tooth fairy with a gold dollar!
Ben, Sam and Nick loved playing with their uncles Scott and Michael! They were so good to our boys and let them jump, drool and wrestle them the entire visit.

Grandma Jill, Grandpa Dan, Scott, Michael and their dog Cubby! The kids loved petting and chasing that poor little dog. Grandpa Dan and Grandma Jill also have 2 cats, but they were smart enough to not be caught too long by our little boys' grasps!
Sunday we spent the day at Uncle Dan and Aunt Deena's home with Grandma Bonnie and Uncle Boomer and Aunt Angie. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins Max, Emma and Jack, while the grownups enjoyed some adult beverages and conversation at the kitchen table!
Eric and his brothers Dan and Aaron. Eric decided to grow a beard this winter. He fits in well with his brothers!
