New Years Eve!

We spent New Years Eve traveling to Utah for our family ski trip.  We arrived as the sun was setting. We stayed right on the slopes in a condo.  After getting unpacked and hitting up the grocery store, we had dinner at Loco Lizard, a family favorite.  Then we headed home to watch the ball drop, in the eastern time zone! and we were off to bed as we had a big day to rest up for!

It's always a treat to eat out with our family during the holidays, and also celebrate Eric's birthday!

 

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve we went to our friends, the Basile's.  Our tradition.  We met them at church and returned to their home after for lots of delicious food, drinks and a few games.  

We had an ugly Christmas sweater contest and a white elephant exchange.  Both were fun additions to the night!

I think Aunt Jeanne got the best gift of all!

Christmas around town

There are so many Christmas activities to do around town.  We did as many as we could!

Eric and I met Dave and Debbie at the Christkindlmart for an afternoon of sipping mulled wine and eating raclette cheese.  Yum!  This was our first visit, but I sure hope it won't be our last.  

We spent an afternoon at the Eiteljorg Museum checking out Jingle Rails.  

A special dinner at Traders Point Creamery.

Eric and I went to Yuletide this year for the first time.  It's something that I've always wanted to do and this was the year!  The boys didn't have any interest in going.  We missed the window with that and should have gone when they were single digits!  I sure did enjoy it!

Schraufnagel Family Christmas Party

Our family hosted the Schraufnagel family Christmas party this year!  It was such a honor to host everyone, I was so happy that most everyone could come.  We ate, played games, and ate some more!  We laughed, sang, and danced some, too.  

Ella was at the star of the night!

Most stayed the night, camping out in the basement and pool house.

How blessed we all are to have each other!
