Fall Break

The boys had a fall break last weekend from school.  Preschool, Kindergarten and 1st grade really takes  a toll on these guys and they really needed a break!  We took a trip to Cincinnati to visit The Great Wolf Lodge.  The boys enjoyed the indoor water park, had a chance to dress up in their costumes for a Halloween parade, trick or treating, and practiced their gaming skills in the arcade!  A fun time was had by all!

The Lava Tigers

The Lava Tiger's flag football season has come to an end!  Nick and Sam really liked playing football.  It was the highlight of their week! 

Ben was the team's biggest fan!  He was at every practice and game along with mommy and daddy.

Cub Scouts!

Nick has joined the Cub Scouts!  He is working towards his Tiger badge and seems to be excited to earn the patches and belt loops.  We took part in a fishing derby on a recent Saturday morning.  It was a fun time, all because Nick caught a fish! 

The best thing about scouts Nick discovered is selling popcorn!  Nick loaded up his red wagon and we hit the neighborhood!  We have the most generous and gracious neighbors who all supported Nick in his efforts.  Many of them reminisced about their boys' scouting days.  Plus, it's hard to resist a man in a uniform!

  

Jack and Annie

Yep, we have furry pets again!  It's been over 2 years since we've had furry friends living with us, but all that changed 2 weeks ago when we adopted 2 kittens!  

I found this on our chalk board after we brought the kittens home.  I think the boys are excited about those 2 felines!

We choose the names Jack and Annie, named after the kids' favorite book series- The Magic Tree house.  The main characters in the books are siblings, named Jack and Annie.
They are very playful and the kids get a kick out of watching them tackle one another!
