Snowy day!

We awoke this morning to a few inches of blowing snow and a 2 hour delay of the start of school.  Just enough time for 3 little boys to play in the snow!  The kids were thrilled!  Nick wanted to shovel the snow, which quickly turned into throw the snow at his brothers and on himself!  Ben had other plans for a snow football game.  We played outside for about 20 minutes, 18 minutes longer than I thought we would last!

Indoor snowball fight!

The last day of school for 2012 was yesterday and today for the boys.  I volunteered in Sam's classroom for his winter party and helped with the games, a snowball fight!  We tested out the snowballs, balled up white tissue paper, before school with Ben.  What fun!

Sam with his class having a fun time!

Interactive Academy

Sam attends Interactive Academy on Wednesday mornings for an enrichment program where he studies gymnastics, Spanish and other fun things.  This past Wednesday Ben and I were treated to a special Super Star Show Off from Sam and his class!  They recited a cute poem about snowballs and sang the snowman hoky poky!  Sam also demonstrated his gymnastic skills for us!

Christmas with the Horn family

Unfortunately we weren't able to get together with the Horn family this year due to illness.  But we were able to exchange gifts while wearing masks, as to not exchange illnesses!  The boys were super excited to open their gifts Sunday night when we got back home to Indiana.  They loved all of their gifts!

Christmas with the Schraufnagel family

Last weekend we traveled to Illinois to celebrate Christmas with the Schraufnagel family.  It was a crazy good time and the boys loved every minute of it!  We feel very fortunate to be able to spend Christmas with our family!

Game Club

Nick participates in Game Club at school.  They meet a couple of times a month before school and learn how to play board games.  This past week was my turn to volunteer to help with the kids.  Sam and Ben went along to lend their game skills, too!  It was a lot of fun for everyone!

A few pictures...

I got an early Christmas present this year, a camera!  I am looking forward to taking many more great pictures of my sons and learning how to use all of the extra features on the camera!  Here are a few random shots trying out my new gift!
