Our nephew, and Godson, Alex married Angela on May 4th. We were excited to be there to celebrate their holy matrimony.
They got married in the same church that Eric and I were married in 24 years ago, St. Mary's. My parents were also married here, as well as all of my siblings! We were all baptized here as well!
The boys, looking all spiffy!, were asked to hand out the wedding programs.
It was a beautiful ceremony. Afterwards we took a few family pictures.
Chrislynn, John, Emily, Jack and Grace.
Ellen and Marc and their family.
I was grateful that someone also took our picture!
"Ellen, Kohls has some great dresses! Here is a coupon too!" Haha! We ended up with the same dress! Obviously we have excellent taste!
My parents. Back where it all began!
At the reception they were honored with being the longest married couple in the room, 58 blissful years of marriage! Such an inspiration to the rest of us.
The wedding party played along with the date of May the 4th and the Star Wars connection.
A reception selfie.
Somehow Eric and I got to sit alone, without our children for dinner. They sat with Uncle John and Aunt Chrislynn and their cousins.
It was fun watching them interact with their cousins.
We danced the night away and had so much fun!
Chrislynn and Angela happened to also find beautiful dresses at Kohl's! We all had such a laugh over this!
Really, I think we all secretly wished to be bridesmaids one more time! Ha!
The happy couple!
Angela's dress was stunning. It happened to be her mom's gown from 27 years ago!
So special!
