Happy Easter!

We enjoyed a quiet Easter Sunday at home together.  The kids searched for eggs and indulged in lots of chocolate and jelly beans.  Then we got dressed up and went to church.

The camera tri pod for the win!

The pool is warm and ready for swimming!  Ben tried out his new surf board.

Dinner in the dining room!
This was devoured in a matter of minutes by 3 teenage boys!

In true Indiana spring tradition, Mother Nature laughed at us once again and provided a winter wonderland the following day!

Castaway Cay

The following day we explored Castaway Cay, Disney's private island.
We had a fun filled day snorkeling, swimming, climbing, biking and a spent a little time relaxing in the sun with a book.

The next day we had breakfast with our favorite Disney characters and then disembarked and headed back home.  The drive home was long, but uneventful.
We hope we get the opportunity to travel on a Disney cruise again in the future!

A day at the Blue Lagoon

Our first port stop was at Nassau, Bahamas.  We spent the day at the Blue Lagoon, a small private island that was a 30 min. double decker boat ride from the port.  The island was very laid back with a beautiful beach and water activities. We found some beach chairs on the beach, while the boys enjoyed snorkeling and swimming in the ocean.  It was the perfect relaxing beach day!
On our way back to the cruise ship, the double decker boat was hopping with fun tunes that we all sang along with. So fun!

When we returned to our cabin we found these friends on our bed.

Eric and I enjoyed a drink on the 'adults only' deck before our pirate dinner.  Arghh!

The Disney Dream

After a very restful night, we drove to Port Canaveral to board the Disney Dream, setting sail for a 4 night cruise to the Bahamas.  We did this same cruise a few years ago, it was worthy of a vacay repeat!

First things first, lunch.  The cruise's food did not disappoint! Crab legs for lunch!

Spring Break!

Here we are, walking into the airport Saturday morning with our luggage, little did we know at this point our flight to Florida would be cancelled. We would end up driving last minute, through the night, to make it in time to relax at the Polynesian Resort and then to board our cruise Monday afternoon!  But that's just what happened.  Sometime the best made plans weren't meant to be.  Luckily our car was ready for the road trip and the boys were great car travelers!
We arrived in the early morning to enjoy the resort for the day and night before boarding the Disney Dream cruise ship Monday afternoon.
