On our off day from skiing, we visited the children's museum in Salt Lake City. We went there last year too and the boys remembered it well and requested to return again this year.
It's a very fun, interactive place to explore.
A "real" play airplane!
We went to dinner one night, horse and carriage style! The restaurant, Snowed Inn, was located at the Park City ski resort. The restaurant sat half way up the mountain. It was a fun, cold, snugly kind of ride!

Sam and his famous fall asleep at dinner maneuver! We actually ate here at this restaurant 2 years ago, on Sam's birthday. The results were the same for Sam and Nick got to blow out the candles on his birthday dessert. Nick is never going to let Sam forget that one!

We were all set to fly home after 6 days away, but mother nature had other plans for us! Back home in Indiana there was a terrible blizzard and crazy cold temperatures happening and the Indianapolis airport closed. We had to wait 2 more days to catch a flight back home. Luckily we were able to stay at our condo those nights. This gave us the opportunity to explore a little more of Park City.
The first place we found was a place called Monkey Mountain. It was the best place to spend the day for our little monkeys. They had so much fun the first day, that we had a return visit the following day! Ben has asked several times since we've been home if we could go to Monkey Mountain again today!
The next find was a super cool bowling alley. This was the first time we have gone "real" bowling with the kids. With the help of the bumpers, they weren't too bad!
Every good bowling alley has to have an arcade.

We made it home safely and thankfully all was well at our home, including our cats Jack and Annie. School was cancelled the entire first week after our Christmas break, so the kids didn't miss out on a single day of school. We are still experiencing a true winter in Indiana with lots of snow and cold, cold days!
