Nick, Sam, Ben and I attended to our first Creek Stomp today at Eagle Creek in our town of Zionsville. The boys had a chance to stomp around in the creek with nets and look for creatures to study. Our big catch of the day was a tree frog which Nick was very excited to capture in his net. They also enjoyed throwing rocks into the creek and making big splashes!

Creek Stomp!

Go Indians!

Grandma Jill and Grandpa Dan came to visit over Labor Day weekend. The boys went fishing and Ben caught his first fish! They celebrated with Scooby Doo ice cream. We all went to the Indianapolis Indians baseball game on Saturday night. The team is a AAA farm team for the Pittsburgh Pirates. It was bat day, as Ben is showing, and believe it or not, none of our bats ended up going over the fence! Fireworks followed the game which was a great incentive for all of us to make it to the end!
First day of school!
The boys have all been in school for a 2 weeks now and are loving it! Ben still has a few tears for Mommy when I leave him but his teachers reassure me that he gets over the crying quickly and gets busy playing. They all go 2 full days a week and Nick does an additional half day at a different school where gymnastics and Spanish is also incorporated into his day. It definitely makes for a full week with tired boys at bedtime!
