Blue and Gold

Cub Scouts continues for Sam and Ben.  We celebrated the birthday of Cub Scouts with the Blue and Gold banquet where Sam and Ben both received their rank advancements.  Sam completed Webelos I  and Ben completed his Bear rank.  Way to go boys!

President's Day Weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge

We spent the extended President's Day Weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge.  Always a super fun time!  The boys are more independent and can leave our sides to ride water slides and play in all of the pools.

The MagiQuest and arcade are always a huge hit, too!

This weekend always comes at the perfect time to get away and recharge ourselves until spring break!

Happy 10th birthday Sam!

 Sam is officially double digits!  

He celebrated with friends with a party and sleepover the weekend before.

The boys played laser tag, video games and a few other party games that Sam planned.  A good time was had by all, along with not much sleep!

On his official birthday morning Sam had 10 candles in his breakfast cinnamon muffins before heading off to school. 

Later that night we had dinner at Monical's Pizza and treats at a local chocolate shop afterwards before coming home to open presents.  

At 10 Sam is still a sweet, sensitive boy who is a friend to all.  He plays the piano and loves to play baseball, basketball and video games. He's always willing to help out when asked and considers his brothers his best friends.

Nick crosses over from a Cub Scout to a Boy Scout

 Nick is an official Boy Scout.  After completling all levels of Cub Scouts he has earned the Arrow of Light achievement and is on to Boy Scouts!
We're very proud of him and his dedication to scouts.

Nick with his leader, Frank.  I happened to be sick the night of the crossover, Sam stayed home to help take care of me.  I was so bummed to miss it!
