Grace's First Communion

Each year my sister Lisa and I attend the Hearts at Home conference, a meeting for moms held in central Illinois.  We have so much fun getting away and spending the weekend together.  This year the conference was the same weekend as our niece and Goddaughter Grace's first communion.

Spring Break 2016

We had a relaxing week away from the routine schedule of school, practices and lessons and enjoyed a little down time!  

We spent the first couple days of spring break at The Great Wolf Lodge in Cincinnati.  The boys are getting braver and rode more water slides this trip than they have in the past.  Eric and I rode our fair share as well!  The arcade, mini glow golf, and the Magi Quest are still favorites for them as well!

We spent some time at home playing in the yard enjoying some beautiful, sunny spring days.

We spent an afternoon with friends playing laser tag, bowling and eating ice cream!

Then we ended our week in Illinois visiting family.  We met Aunt Lisa's duck Fiona, 

were treated to a jazz concert by Anna and the jazz band at her school, 

and finished our trip at Chuck E Cheese with our cousins Jack, Nathan and Andrew eating pizza and playing arcade games!

What a great week!  Now we are ready for spring sports!
