Globetrotters

We went to watch the Globetrotters over the long weekend, always a favorite for us!
This is the 3rd time we've been to their show, and we laughed just as much this time as the first time!

Ski Trip 2017

We traveled to Deer Valley, Utah for our annual ski trip on January 2nd, all ready for a week of fun in the snow!

The boys attended ski school for 3 of the 4 ski days, then skied with us on the final day.  They are all learning so much and can now out ski me!  Not surprising!

This year we were lucky enough to meet up with our friends the Millers.  It was so much fun to have another couple to ski with, and to have lunch with as well!  One of our lunches together was at the Stein Eriksen Lodge.  This is a famous lodge named after the great skier Stein Eriksen, who is known as the grandfather of freestyle skiing.  We stuffed ourselves on a delicious buffet with amazing desserts!  Yummy!  We will definitely be going back there next time!

The first ride on the lift.  All 3 boys were in Adventure Club this year for ski school which met at the top of the mountain each morning to form groups with their instructor for the day.

We had ideal ski conditions with lots of powder.  It snowed over 4 feet while we were there.

It's fun to spy on your kids in ski school!  They kind of acknowledged that we were there.

We continued our tradition of sharing our day over sweet treats with the Miller girls.

Ben's had enough of my pictures!

Our last day of skiing.  The kids make the smallest bumps into big jumps making the peaceful, easy green runs much more exciting!  It's still just as fun and terrifying for me to ski with the boys as it was last year!

Ben met Quincy the Bear on the slopes who had a big hug for him.

We have been snow deprived this season in Indiana.  The boys played in the snow any chance they could!

Check out the ice sickles!

We traded off nights watching our kids with the Millers so that we could each enjoy a romantic dinner out, without kids!  Nick and Sam were perfect hosts to the Miller girls and played a few games together.  Later we watched the movie Finding Dory.

On our off day from skiing we traveled to Salt Lake City to check out the Aquarium.  Besides all of the cool water creatures, there was also a fun play area for the kids.

Later that night we went bowling and played a few arcade games at our favorite blowing alley, Jupiter Bowl.

We had so much fun and are already planning and looking forward to our next ski trip!
