Indianapolis Zoo

The boys and I visited the Indy Zoo, our first visit this summer and always a fun time!

We have 2 koala bears visiting for the summer.
They were so cute, and sleepy!

The black bear was active playing in the water.

We saw this orangutan outside for the first time.  They have a cool obstacle course to climb on!  We watched this guy climb half way across the course to the ladder and down again into his indoor home.

The kids fed the birds, this one wanted to come home with me, evidently!

Silly Ben!

Summertime Fun

Summer time is flying by!
Here is a little bit of what has been keeping us busy this summer!

Ben, tending to the garden.  So far we've enjoyed lettuce and green beans from our garden.

The boys participated in a couple of sports camps this summer.

Golf camp.
So much fun!  Luckily the weather cooperated for the week at camp.  The boys are all too cute carrying their clubs!

Ben seems to have golf crossed with baseball!

Piano lessons, music Lego camp and a recital.

Nick was happy to lend a hand to make some flag treats on the Fourth of July.

Basketball camp.
The boys learned all kinds of new drills and skills at basketball camp!  I was impressed at how much they improved with their dribbling and shooting!

Cousin Fun

Aunt Jessica , Uncle Kevin, Brandon and Jonathan came to visit us last week from New York!  We were so excited to see them!

A pickup game of wiffle ball in the backyard.

Jonathan preferred to swing!

The boys all got along so well.

Camping out in the boys' room!
Cousins are the best!

Grabbing a burger for lunch at Bubs Burgers, a local favorite spot.

It rained quite a bit while they were visiting, so we made the best of it and jumped at Sky Zone, an indoor trampoline place.

The cousins, dominating on the dodge ball court!

Nick and Brandon.

All the boys!  Our home was full of life for a few days with 5 boys 8 and under!

Annie

Ben loves our cat Annie!
On this rare occassion, she was letting him cuddle with her for a moment.
