Happy Valentine's Day!

So many sweet treats on a special day with my sweethearts!

Fox News!

The cool thing about Nick being a Cub Scout is we all get to go on the 'Go See It' field trips!  We visited the local Fox 59 news station on a recent Saturday morning.  It was really interesting to see just how the news gets to our t.v. in our kitchen and then to get a chance to sit in the 'real live news desk'!  Such a fun time!

Go Pacers!

Aunt Ellen, Uncle Mark, and our cousins Daniel, Nathan and Andrew came over in early February for a Pacers game!  It was an exciting game that went down to the wire against The Brooklyn Nets and the Pacers pulled off the win!

Before the game began we had time to check out the stadium.

Uncle Mark and his boys.

We found a sign making station.  Our boys were all over that!

The final products.  Now we are all ready to cheer on the Pacers!

Ben is on the jumbo tron!  Many times, actually.  We had the eye of the camera man and all 3 boys were on the big screen several times throughout the night.  It had to have been those awesome signs that the boys made!  Before the game began there was an opportunity to be recorded cheering on the Pacers.  The video was then played at the beginning of the fourth quarter.  Nick and Ben were the only brave ones of the group to do it.  My camera didn't flash quick enough to get Nick's picture, but here is Ben!  Unfortunately Ben missed it as he and Daddy were in the bathroom when it was played.  Pretty much the story of our lives with 3 little boys!

Bus Stop

The kittens, Jack and Annie, are always up for escorting the boys to the bus stop in the morning.  They climb the trees and are loving the snow too!  They have been seen jumping through the piles of snow and chasing snowballs and are truly the best kittens that we could ask for!  They are very tolerant of the boys and the love and affection that they have for them.  They spend a fare share of their days inside, but love to go outdoors too.

Our winter days.

It's been a long, long winter here in Indiana.  We've had lots of school delays and cancellations due to snow and cold temperatures.  When we had delays nearly every day one week, we began holding our own school sessions!

The boys all share a room now which left us with an extra room that has become our craft/homework room.

Even Jack our cat is looking for ways to stay warm from this cold winter!  Ben is more than happy to cuddle with him.

Ben has rediscovered his love for cars!

The Wii has been a huge hit this winter, particularly Mario Kart!

Monster Trucks!

It's become our annual tradition to go to Monster Truck Jam in late January at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.  The boys love to go and see all of the huge trucks, to see their stunts, and cheer them on!
This year we met up with some friends for a pre-show dinner at Champions Bar and Grill.  The boys all had to try out their monster tire headphones and make sure they were working properly.

Ben was a little reluctant to go in at first, but he quickly warmed up to the loud noises and smells of dirt, oil, and gasoline!

Nick had my camera most of the time capturing what he thought was the most interesting and entertaining trucks of the night.  Nick is becoming quite the photographer!

And Sam.  Well, he once again fell asleep before the night was over.  He is not one to miss out on any chances of sleep!  God love him!
