Fall Break 2018

Fall break just might be my favorite week off from school.  We started our break with a family night out to The Escape Room followed by a delicious dinner at the Melting Pot.  We did not escape the room, but had a lot of fun trying!  This was our first time taking the kids for fondue, but won't be our last.  They all loved it!

The following day we went to Illinois to celebrate Grama Schraufnagel's birthday.  The entire family was there to celebrate.  It was a such a fun time with all of my siblings and the boys' cousins!
The original 6!

The following day we went to Brown County and stayed in a cabin.
The week was spent zip lining, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and relaxing together around the fire circle.

The boys were so brave zip lining.  They have zero fears!

We toured the Cox Creek Mill and saw an artist at work on his reclaimed metal designs.  The kids were fascinated by this.  During the month of October the art galleries are open for visitors.  We picked a great gallery to tour.  The artist was happy to share with us all about the history of his gallery and even let the boys have a turn on his home made zip line in the backyard!

We spent a day at the state park.

The boys went horseback riding for the first time!  They were naturals, much to my delight!

Our cabin had a small pond in the backyard with a few fish that didn't want to be caught!  But we had fun trying!

We topped off the week at the Colt's game where they defeated the Buffalo Bills.
Check out the Super Bowl trophy from 2007!
