The 4th of July in Indiana

This year for the fourth we spent the evening at the local park, Lions Park.  It was a fun filled evening complete with a watermelon eating contest for Nick, while he didn't win, he sure did put forth a great effort!

"Octagon" style wrestling for Nick and Sam, this was hilarious!  We might need one of these for our back yard!

Super slide for Ben!  I actually saw him do a somersault entrance onto the slide at one point!  He is a true dare devil!

The Lion and Ben!

And Yummy treats!

We came for the entire night, including the fireworks that began at 10.  The kids were real troopers!

A visit with cousins

We recently enjoyed a weekend visit from Uncle Dan, Aunt Deena and the boys' cousins Max, Emma and Jackson.  We took in a few sights in downtown Indy and also enjoyed time playing together at home.  Nothing beats spending time together with cousins!

The perfect way to end a day!

Golf Camp

Nick and Sam had 4 mornings of golf camp in June.  They loved it!  Ben and I had some fun mornings together hiking and playing with friends in our backyard.

Ben's New Wheels

Ben has his first bike.  Hot Wheels!

A Special Visitor

We had some excitement in our home last week, a frog was hopping around in our living room!  Ben came running into the kitchen to tell me with equal excitement and terror in his voice!  We caught the frog and let him go outside in our garden.  There is truly never a dull moment around here!

T-ball

T-ball season has come to an end, but not before trophies were awarded for all of the boys' hard work!

Ben's coaches even presented the players with an all star goodie bag during a family pizza night.

Our 3 baseball players.  Ben kept losing his hat all season!

My favorite.
