Fall Break Continues...

We enjoyed a trip to Turkey Run State Park with the kids and the dogs for a picnic and a hike.
Such beauty all around us.

It was a beautiful Saturday night for an Indy Eleven soccer game.
We won!  Nick tells me that Indy Eleven has won each time he's been to their games.

Hiking closer to home at Starkey Park.
Our favorite forest for hiking in Zionsville.

Golfing.
I was the official photographer as I'm not much of a golfer!
I am impressed on how much the boys know about golfing.  Those summer golf camps sure have payed off!

Putt Putt golf at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
Golfing, more my speed!

Exploring the 100 Acre Woods at the IMA.

Eric, with his favorite part of the spine.

Indoor swimming at the Monon Center.

And to end the week, a day spent on the canal riding a bike for 4.  Sam preferred to bring his own wheels!
It was a relaxing and fun fall break!

Fall Break and a visit to Stuckey Farms

It's fall break.  A time to take a break from school and activities for the week and spend a little time together, on a much needed slower speed.  We are staying home this year and taking advantage of all of the activities to do that are near us.  Eric also has the week off from work.

First up was a visit to Stuckey Farms.  The boys and I have gone to Stuckeys every year since I can remember to pick apples, drink cider slushies, and enjoy the feel of fall in the air.

This year we went during the weekend for the fall festival.  The apple cannon was something new for
us to try.  We each launched a bag of apples at targets set up in the field.  Nick was the only one to hit the target!  The boys all said this was their favorite part of the day!

Sam, loading the apples for Dad to launch.

My favorite part of the day was bringing along my camera to get a few cute pictures of our growing pumpkins!

And apple picking!  Always a favorite!
