Hot Wheels, For Real!

Last Friday night we spent the evening at The Children's Museum for a special Hot Wheels night!  The boys had a chance to race and design cars.  They then had their cars signed by a Hot Wheels designer!

Check out the centerpiece!  It was an all Hot Wheels kind of night!

Indianapolis 500 Community Day

May was a busy month in the Horn household!  We took the Odyssey for a lap around the track on Community Day at the Indianapolis 500!  There were all kinds of activities for the kids including bounce houses, race cars, racing bikes, a chance for the boys to change a tire, ice cream and lots more! 

Lexington, KY

We traveled to Lexington, KY a couple of weeks ago to visit with friends and attended a Steeple Chase!  The boys loved seeing the horses and even had a chance to participate in their own (stick) horse race!

Our friends just had gotten back from a trip to Thailand and brought the boys each a pair of Thai boxing shorts!  They loved them and immediately put them on and began boxing!

June calendar kids!

If you happen to live in Carmel, IN you just might recognize the 2 young men and lady on the month of June in the Carmel Clay Calendar!  Nick, Sam and their friend Ella's photo was chosen for the month of June.  We attended a touch a truck event together back in July 2010.  As I remember it was a very hot day, as you can see by their red faces!  They were standing in the back of a small utility truck, smiling away for the cameras for their mommies and the young lady taking photos for the park district.  It was a fun surprise to see them in the calendar for 2012!
