Breakfast with the Firefighters

A couple of weeks ago we were treated to a delicious pancake breakfast with the Zionsville Firefighters! The boys had fun dressing up like a real fireman and checking out the cool trucks with our friends.

A visit with Grandma Bonnie

The next morning we had a fun visit with Grandma Bonnie and her dog Molly. The boys loved the kisses from Molly and all of her energy! Grandma was a good sport and wore the birthday crown the boys made for her the entire visit!

The hotel

After a long day of playing outside it was time to head back to the hotel for baths, pj's and a pizza party followed by watching some fun shows!

Family Reunion

While we were in Springfield we attended a family reunion with Grandma Bonnie's family. The boys had such a fun time playing with their cousins!

Springfield, IL

We traveled to Springfield, IL for a family visit in September. Our first stop was at the Henson Robinson Zoo. The zoo was the perfect size for 3 little boys to explore. They even had a train!

Apple Picking

The boys and I enjoyed a sunny afternoon picking apples at Stuckey Farms. Nick really got into picking out the very best apples to put into his bag, while Ben just kept picking up the bruised ones off the ground! After picking apples it's important to spend a little time playing on the monster truck!

Fall Festival

A family favorite the Lions Park Fall Festival happened in mid September. The boys got to go 2 days this year! The first evening was spent bouncing in the bounce houses and trying out the Target Race car! We met up with our friends Ella, Sam and Sarah and watched a hot air balloon in action. The kids thought that was great! The next day we took Daddy along and rode the rides! We've discovered that Nick is a dare devil and loved the grown up rides as well as the kiddie rides! What a fun time!
